Daily Devotion
"Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones." (Proverbs 16:24, NIV)
A Word That Strengthens the Soul
"Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones." (Proverbs 16:24, NIV) The Lord values words that bring life. Gracious speech is not flattery or avoidance of truth; it expresses truth with patience, dignity, and love. Our words can become a channel of comfort when we notice the discouraged person, answer without cruelty, and offer hope grounded in God's faithfulness. Before you speak today, pause and ask whether your words are true, necessary, and kind. If you have spoken harshly, seek forgiveness and make amends rather than letting pride keep you silent. God can use a thoughtful sentence, an honest apology, or a message of encouragement to help another person endure a difficult moment. Invite Him to guide your speech, so that what you say points others toward His love.
A Prayer for Today
Heavenly Father, guide my words so they reflect Your truth, patience, and love. Help me notice those who need encouragement, speak with kindness, and make amends when I have caused hurt. Let my words offer hope and point others toward Your goodness. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Tuesday Bible Study
Abide in Christ: Growing as a Branch on the True Vine
“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” — John 15:5 (KJV)
Study focus
Jesus describes a close, life-giving relationship with Him. A branch does not produce fruit by struggling alone; it remains connected to the vine. In the same way, believers grow through trust in Christ, attention to His teaching, prayer, and loving obedience.
Reflect on the passage
- What does it mean in daily life to remain connected to Jesus?
- Which habits help you make room for prayer and Scripture?
- What fruit of faith—such as patience, kindness, or love—could someone see in your actions this week?
Put it into practice
Set aside a few quiet minutes today to read John 15:1–8. Pray about one area where you need Christ’s help, then choose one loving action you can take.
Junior & Teen Corner
A welcoming place for young people ages 7–16 to explore faith, feelings, and kindness.
Today's Junior Word
Scripture: "I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you." (Psalm 119:11, NIV)
Learning Scripture can help you remember God's wisdom and choose what honors Him. A Bible verse is not a magic phrase; it reminds you of truth you can understand and put into practice.
Daily Challenge: Choose one short Bible verse to read today with a trusted adult, write it down, and practice saying it. Think of one situation where its message could guide you.
Faith & Feelings
Missing Home While Away
Missing your family or familiar routines when you are away from home is a normal feeling. You can tell a responsible adult, take a few slow breaths, and ask whether you may check in with your parent or guardian. A familiar bedtime routine or a quiet prayer can help you feel settled. Remember that God is with you wherever you go, and the people who care for you are still thinking of you. If you feel unsafe or the worry does not ease, tell a trusted adult right away.

Daily Words of Encouragement from Pastor
Hope Is Still Rising
My dear friend, if you are weary from a long struggle, please hear this: your story is not over, and this difficult moment is not the end of what God can do in your life. You are seen, deeply loved, and not forgotten. Even when you can only manage one small step, that step matters. Hold on to hope, keep faith alive, and let someone you trust stand with you—you do not have to carry everything alone. I believe brighter days are still ahead, and there is purpose waiting beyond this hard season.
